Make sense of bale grades.
What to ask when you see “cream”, “premium” or “Grade A” on a listing.
Ask what the label means
Grade names are supplier descriptions. Ask what a term means for this batch, including wear, stains, repairs and the expected mix. Do not assume two suppliers use the same definition.
Look beyond the wrapper
Packaging can identify a category, but it cannot show every piece inside. View actual stock media and ask whether an opening is representative of the batch you are buying.
Check the details together
Compare grade alongside category, weight, piece estimate and total cost. A heavier bale does not automatically have more pieces: clothing sizes and materials affect the count.
